Members of the college’s [Loading Advisory Boards link…] represent business, manufacturing, non-profits, government agencies and other institutions of higher education. The Admissions advisory board includes guidance counselors from the region’s secondary schools.

The goal of the boards is to ensure our students receive an education that will prepare them for the workforce needs in our community. They meet regularly with the college’s faculty, staff and academic leaders to discuss how best to align academic program content with current workforce needs.

Hudson Valley has been sponsoring programs for children and teens through its Kids on Campus Programs for more than 30 years, enrolling approximately 900 students each year.

START-UP NY helps new and expanding businesses through tax-based incentives and innovative academic partnerships. START-UP NY offers new and expanding businesses the opportunity to operate tax-free for 10 years on or near eligible university or college campuses in New York State. Partnering with colleges like Hudson Valley gives businesses direct access to advanced research laboratories,

Hudson Valley’s Office of Institutional Services and Events is pleased to assist you in your event planning. The dedicated full-time staff assists in the scheduling, organization, setup, and details of each event on our campus, and coordinates all special requests for services with the other departments on campus, such as security and media.

The New York State Pathways in Technology (NYS P-TECH) program is a unique partnership that brings together high school, college and industry to reimagine the way that New York State’s students are prepared for the high-skills jobs of the future. The mission of the Northeast Construction Trades Workforce Coalition (NCTWC) is to educate, inspire and connect people in pursuit of rewarding careers in the trades, driving economic growth while building and sustaining our communities. Hudson Valley is a member of NCTWC and works closely with more than 300 local trade businesses and organizations in an effort to bring awareness of career opportunities in construction trades to students across the northeast.

A division of Hudson Valley Community College, the Capital District EOC can help students get the education and training they need for the future they want – whether that means a High School Equivalency diploma and college prep, or training for a new career. Programs are free for those who qualify and prepare students to successfully contribute to the workforce across various industries.

The Grants Administration office assists faculty and staff at Hudson Valley in their efforts to secure external funding for projects that further the mission of the college. Collaboration with business and industry stakeholders offers the opportunity to secure grant funding that mutually benefits the college and its partners.

Supporting Hudson Valley ensures that the college remains at the forefront of higher education in the Capital Region. Giving is coordinated through the Hudson Valley Community College Foundation, a not-for-profit, independent 501(c)(3) corporation with a mission to engage our community as advocates for our college to invest in a promising future.
